Hey everyone, how's your results?
For those who did well (not me >.<) , CONGRATS!
But for those who didn't, dun worry, there's still 2nd semester!

But anyway, the point of this post is to inform you guys of 2A BBQ!
So it'll be on the 20th June, is tat ok? For those who can't make it, pls sms me kayy?
If less den 20 going hor den i shall change date. At least get half of the class to go.
Pls tell me quick, cos i scared no space or else we all must go school canteen eat chicken rice :)
(One whole chicken is abt $16, den we all buy rice and share)

So betta tell me ASAP k? Even though our sch chicken rice nt bad :)
And it'll most likely be at Pasir Ris Park, cos alot of us live in Pasir Ris.
Short of coal can go chop down our tree and use it as firewood :)

Edit from Paul: The food will cost around $100, and if you want to book a bbq pit at Pasir Ris, it will cost $20. So the initial estimate will be $120. And for convenience sake, if you want to take bus there, book the pits 40+, as there is a bus-stop near there. Take bus 403, for nine stops and you will reach there.

The tree planting was reported in the "IN" newspaper, and here is the report. If I am not wrong, Ms Teo from the NParks will be sending a copy too. So for now, the soft copy. If you manage to get hold of "IN", I believe that it is on page 11. As you can see, Joshua is sadly cropped out of it. :(

A. Time 20 oscillations and divide by 20.
B. Time 50 oscillations and divide by 50.
C. Time one oscillation.
D. Time the motion from X to Y and multiply by 2.

Correct Answer: A

Ingredients for 2 pies

2 medium potatoes
80g lean minced pork
50g frozen mixed vegetables
1 tbsp evaporated milk
1 clove garlic, chopped
Egg for glazing
1 tsp margarine
Pinch of salt
1 tsp Mixed herbs
Pepper
2 Aluminium baking cases

Preheat oven to 250 degree celcius

Mashing the Potato

Boil scrubbed potatoes for at least 30 minutes until softened.
Prick potato with fork to check if it is cooked.
Drain away hot water and let potatoes cool.
Peel and mash potatoes.
When lumps are removed, add 1 tsp margarine, 1 tbsp evaporated milk, a pinch of salt, a dash of pepper and continue mashing until well-mixed.

Preparing the Fillings

Season minced pork with 1 tsp mixed herbs, pinch of salt and dash of pepper.
Heat oil over medium flame.
Fry garlic until fragrant.
Stir-fry minced pork until cooked.
Add in mixed vegetables and stir-fry.
Distribute fillings equally between two aluminium baking cases.

Making the Pie

Arrange mashed potato as a topping over the fillings.
Glaze with egg.
Bake at 250ºC for 20 minutes.
